I was just on "Breakfast with Bill" Barr on WMFQ in OCALA, FL (92.9 FM), and Bill asked me about Twilight (of course).
I told him I have nothing but the highest regard for Stephanie Meyers and her work, but the series (and the films) don't have enough... bite. Their blood is a litte thin. I find the stories aenemic.
True Blood - the HBO interpretation of Charlaine Harris's work -- is much more my speed. It's hotter / sexier and grittier.
Bill's response was to play Foriegner's "Hot Blooded."
